After months of planning and preparing, Homecoming week has begun. Today, Sunday Nov. 2, students from all over campus went to local hot spots to paint windows with dragons and UAB colors.

“There was a woman who pulls over on 10th avenue takes a picture of our artwork, hops back in her car and leaves” said a volunteer at the Snoozy’s site.

With cool temperatures and a light breeze, Paint the Town has started the trend to what is predicted to be consistent for the week.

If you missed out on today’s event, be sure not to miss out on any others! Tomorrow we’ll challenge our inner Blazer, dine and sing at “Blazer Hustle” at 7 p.m. followed by “Pancakes and Karaoke” at 10 p.m. at the Commons on the Green concourse.
