A “Meet The Peetes Topic” That Touches Home…

I was scheduled to go on Oprah and Friends XM Network -”Meet The Peetes” today at noon CST.  One minute before going on I got a call from the assisted living facility that we recently had to move my father into. He’s 66 and suffering from Alzheimer’s. I asked if i could call back after the show… The irony? I was on Meet The Peetes to talk about how adults can balance taking care of their own children and caring for ailing parents. It’s called “The Sandwich Generation”– and today I became a full-fledged member… Click here to listen.

Monday’s line-up- ABC 33/40 and Oprah and Friends

Couple of interesting things going on this coming monday (Novemeber 10th).. At 11:00am CST- I get to answer questions from the news staff at ABC 33/40.  If you live in north central alabama tune in to see what kinds of problems are on the minds of the people who bring us our news…

Then at 12:00pm CST I will be back with the Peetes on “Meet The Peetes” (Oprah and Friends Network, XM radio chanel 156).  We are talking about the “sandwhich” generation – those of us who are caught between caring for our kids and caring for our aging parents…
